FRESHMAN HILL LEADS ST. FRANCES TO AN 18-3 ROUT OF AACS

Freshman
Devan Hill tossed five strong innings, striking out six and allowing no
earned runs as St. Frances exploded for 18 runs to rout Annapolis Area
Christian, 18-3, in MIAA B Conference baseball yesterday.

Hill
helped his cause by knocking in four runs, on two hits [including a
double]. Darrell Anderson also had a great day at the plate, going 4-5,
with a triple, and three runs batted in.

The Panthers (7-10
overall) are now 2-6 in the B Conference. With the loss, AACS fell to
3-6 overall and 3-4 in the league, as it battles to stay alive in the
playoff chase.
