Beth Tfiloh maintained at least a share of first place in the MIAA C Conference, defeating Park School, 40-30, Tuesday for its sixth consecutive victory.
Jeremy Scherling had nine points to lead Beth Tfiloh (8-8 overall, 6-1 league), which outscored Park, 23-9, in the second half to take a half-game lead over Saints Peter & Paul (5-1 league), which played Key School Tuesday.
Junior guard Karl Nelson scored a game-high 19 points to lead Park (8-9, 5-3), which remaining points came from Anthony Kinslow (nine points) and Kyle Ottenheimer (two). The Bruins host Saints Peter & Paul Friday evening while Beth Tfiloh travels to Baltimore Lutheran Thursday afternoon.

Tyler Leatherwood scored 14 points and sophomore Aaron McCall added 11 as Chapelgate Christian picked up a non-league decision. Senior Mike Lovaas had 11 for the Marriottsville school.
Phillip Perry led Granite Baptist with a game-high 19 points. Chapelgate hosts Saints Peter & Paul Wednesday in a MIAA C Conference match.
